Sizzling Beef Steak

Sizzling Steak Recipe:

2 lb. high quality beef steak, 1-1/2" thick

Marinade:
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
3 Tbsp. minced green onions
3 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. minced fresh ginger (optional)
3 large cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine marinade ingredients.

Place beef steak and marinade in food-safe plastic bag, turning steak to coat.
Close bag securely and marinate in refrigerator 6 hours or as long as overnight, turning occasionally.

Remove beef steak from marinade; discard marinade.
Place steak on grid over medium ash-covered coals.

Grill, covered, 25-28 minutes to 140 degrees F for medium-rare doneness, turning occasionally.
Transfer the sizzling beef steak to carving board.
Let the steak stand for 5 minutes.
Carve the beef steak crosswise into thin slices.

6 to 8 servings.
