Beef Stew Recipe

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 c. frozen peas
1 1/2 qts. water
1 onion, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
1 qt. tomato juice
2 1/2 c. macaroni

Boil the water in a large kettle. Add all the macaroni.
Brown the ground beef and onion.
Add the ground meat to the macaroni when the redness is gone.
Add all the tomato juice and salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer for about 1/2 hour.
Just before serving add the 2 cups of frozen peas.
Cook a few minutes and serve.

Ground Beef Stew Recipe

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. uncooked macaroni
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. onion, chopped
15 1/2 oz. can red beans
16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt

Cook the onion, garlic and pepper in the hot cooking oil until your onion is tender.
Loosen th ground beef with a fork, until it loses it’s red color.
Stir in all the remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer, until the macaroni is tender and there is little liquid.
Simmering takes about about 30 minutes.

Easy Oven Beef Stew Recipe

2 lbs. boneless beef (I prefer round steak)
cut in 1 inch cubes
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. Wesson oil
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 c. flour
4 sm. carrots, pared & cut into 1
inch pieces
4 sm. onions, quartered
4 sm. potatoes, pared & cut into
halves
1 c. sliced celery
2 oz. cans Hunt’s tomato sauce with
mushrooms
1 c. water

Combine the flour, pepper, salt, and paprika in paper bag.
Start dropping in the beef, one portion at a time.
Shake the paper bag until everything is coated.
Mix all of this with the Wesson oil in a large casserole.

Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Stir once.
Add the vegetables, Hunt’s sauce and water. MAke sure to mix this well.
Cover the casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 1 3/4 hours or until done.

This is really an easy beef stew recipe!

The Lazy Day Beef Stew Recipe

1 lb. beef stew meat (I prefer using chuck for this one)
4 to 6 carrots
3 med. sized potatoes
1 small onion
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce mixed with 1 can water
1 c. cubed celery
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. tapioca

Arrange the stew meat in single layer in a large baking pan.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Cut the potatoes, onion, carrots
and celery in good sized chunks and layer on top of the meat.
Mix the tomato sauce with the water and sugar and pour over the
meat.

Season to taste. Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons tapioca.
Do not stir this mixture! Seal tightly in foil and bake at 325
degrees at least 2 hours.
Serves 4 people.

Brunswick Beef Stew Recipe

1 lb. boneless stew meat or simular, (I prefer beef chuck roast)
1 lb. Irish potatoes, cut up
1 lg. onion
2 c. canned tomatoes
1 c. cream style corn
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 c. English peas
1/2 c. cooked butter beans
1/2 c. catsup
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. Tabasco

Cook the fryer and the beef stew meat until well done. Grind it in your blender and set aside. Now run your onions through the blender. Add the onion and potatoes to the broth from the chicken and stew meat. Cook until done in a large saucepan on top of range. Add the meat and other ingredients. Place all of this in a slow cooker and cook on low heat for 12 hours or high for 8 to 10 hours.
Lastly, add 1/2 cup barbecue sauce.
Yield: about 8 to 10 servings.

Nigerian Beef Stew Recipe

2 lbs. cooked meat (I prefer beef chuck)
1 whole chopped onion
1 (15 oz.) can Hunt’s tomato sauce with herbs
1 tbsp. black pepper & salt
2 c. cooked rice
3 tbsp. cooking oil

Heat the cooking oil for about 2 minutes. Pour 1 teaspoon salt into the oil. Add the tomato sauce to the salt and cooking oil and cook for about 10 minutes. Add the beef chuck (or whatecer meat you have chosen). Cook for about 7 minutes. Simmer about 30 minutes and serve over cooked rice.

One Pot Beef Stew Recipe

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 can pork & beans
1 can peas, drained
1 can kidney beans
1 can lima beans
1 can black-eyed peas
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1/8 c. mustard

Brown the ground beef in a large pot. Then pour all the other ingredients into the pot and let it simmer for 15 minutes.

Beef Stew Recipe

4 lbs. beef round steak, cut in 1 inch cubes
2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
2 (5 oz.) cans water chestnuts, drained and sliced
2 c. sliced celery
4 c. sliced carrots
4 med. onions, sliced
2 (6 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. salt
2 c. Burgundy

In Dutch oven or roasting panmix meat, celery, carrots,  onions, water chestnuts and mushrooms. Mix flour, salt & sugar, then add to meat mixture. Stir in the tomatoes and Burgundy.
Cover and bake for about 4 hours.
