Beef Stroganoff in white rice ring

1 c. uncooked long grain minute rice

BEEF STROGANOFF:

1/3 c. butter
1 c. sliced onion
1 c. green pepper strips
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. catsup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed beef broth, undiluted
3 c. cooked beef strips
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. dried dillweed

Prepare rice as label directs.

While rice cooks, make beef stroganoff: In large skillet, melt butter; add onion, green pepper and garlic; saute until onion is tender, 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

Stir in flour, catsup and salt until well blended. Gradually add broth, stirring constantly; bring to boiling. Over low heat, simmer 5 minutes.

Stir in beef, sour cream and dill; heat just to boiling.

Spoon rice in a ring on serving platter. Fill center with stroganoff. Makes 6 servings; 90 cents per serving; 398 calories per serving.

Beef Stroganoff Casserole

Quick Beef Stroganoff Casserole

1 pkg. Hamburger Helper beef stroganoff prepared mix
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 (10 oz.) pkg. peas and carrots vegetables
8 oz. sour cream
2 tbsp. dehydrated onions

Follow package directions for Hamburger Helper beef stroganoff mix. When recipe is finished according to the directions, add thawed vegetables, 8 ounces sour cream and dehydrated onion. Mix together in large pot or crockpot. Heat thoroughly and simmer 15 minutes. Great for picnics or covered dish dinners.

Sherried Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Sherried Beef Stroganoff

2 lbs. beef, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. cooking sherry
1 pkg. stroganoff sauce mix
1 tbsp. minced onion or 1 pkg. instant onion soup mix
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. water

Toss beef cubes in flour to coat. In large skillet, brown meat in hot cooking oil. Drain off excess fat. Combine soup, sherry, stroganoff mix, and onion or onion soup. Stir into meat along with mushrooms. Turn mixture into 2 quart casserole. Bake covered at 350 degrees until meat is tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Stir in sour cream. Serve over rice, if desired.

Sumptuous Beef Stroganoff

Sumptuous Beef Stroganoff

INGREDIENTS (Serves 4)

1 1/2 lbs round steak or other beef fillet
8 oz canned sliced mushrooms
12 oz sour cream
4 oz white wine
2 Tbsp chopped onion
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp nutmeg
1 Tbsp chopped chives
1 tsp minced garlic (or more to taste)
salt & pepper to taste
pasta or steamed rice

PROCEDURE

Cut meat into 1/2-inch thick by 2 inch long strips.
Saute the onions in butter until brown.
Place meat in pan with onions. Sear quickly in
frying pan along with onion. (This seals the
juices inside.) Avoid overcooking the meat.

Add mushrooms, and stir in the wine, chives, and garlic for about 5 minutes.
Finally add sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and chives, and simmer until it almost boils.

Serve on noodles or steamed white rice.

NOTES
You may want to vary the thickness of the sauce. I do this
by adding sour cream to thicken, or adding wine to lighten.

Low Carb Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon oil
13 ounces lean beef strips
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 onion, finely sliced
3 ounces mushrooms, sliced
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon brandy
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons light sour cream
1/4 bunch parsley leaves

Directions:
Heat half the oil in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat.

Saute beef strips quickly, in batches if necessary, until meat is well browned. Remove from pan and set aside.

Add remaining oil to skillet and saute garlic, onion and mushrooms 2-3 minutes or until onion is transparent. Add brandy, mustard and thyme and saute 2-3 minutes. Return meat to pan and cook through. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.

Reheat if necessary, but do not boil. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with parsley.

Hamburger Recipe

Hamburger Casserole Recipe

1 lb. hamburger / ground beef
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked
1 green pepper, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can evaporated milk

Fry the hamburger meat with green pepper,
then blend in soup and milk.

Combine with cooked noodles and bake
45 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees.

Easy Beef Stroganoff Recipes

Easy Beef Stroganoff

3lbs. stew tenderized meat
16 oz. sour cream.
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
1pkg onion soup mix (lipton works best)
1 can of mushrooms (can use fresh if desired)
1 can beef broth

Put everything in a crock pot and mix together.
Turn on low for about 7-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
Add sour cream right before serving.
I serve it over rice and it’s great,
but can use egg noodles as well.

Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Simple Beef Stroganoff

1 to 2 lbs. beef tenderloin
1 kg. mushrooms, sliced
1 kg. Lawry’s/Schilling stroganoff seasoning
16 to 18 oz. sour cream
1 onion, sliced
4 to 5 tbsp. butter

In a dutch oven, cook the tenderloin beef with butter and onions
until the meat is tender. (Add water if necessary)
You should getabout 1 1/2 to 2 cups of broth from the beef.
Add seasoning mix, mushrooms and sour cream.
Cook until mushrooms are tender.
Serve over egg noodles.

Beef Stroganoff Recipe (with Mushrooms)

Beef Stroganoff with Mushrooms

1 pkg. beef stroganoff mix
1 kg. round steak
2 cans golden mushroom soup
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 sm. sour cream

Cut the round steak up in small cubes.
Brown in skillet and drain off grease.

In a Dutch oven, add mix and round steak cubes
and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Next, add the cream of mushroom soup and
golden mushroom soup.
Let all of this simmer for about 15 minutes.
Add sour cream just before serving.
Mix well. Serve over rice or egg noodles.

Recipe for Beef Stroganoff (with Macaroni)

1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. beef stroganoff mix (French/McCormick)
1 (8 oz.) box macaroni, sea shell
2 tsp. chopped green pepper
2 tsp. ketchup
Sliced or grated cheese
1 c. sour cream
1 can mushroom soup
1 sm. onion, minced

Boil the macaroni according to package instructions.
Brown the ground beef in frying pan with the green pepper and onion.
Sprinkle your stroganoff mix over browned ground beef.
Next, add the sour cream, ketchup and can of mushroom soup.
Drain the macaroni and mix with your stroganoff mixture.
Pour into 2 quart baking dish, and top with cheese, and bake at
350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
