Link Exchange ("Reciprocal Link Exchange") is the practice of exchanging links with other websites. The simplest way of doing it is to email another website owner and ask to do a link exchange. You place their link on your site, usually on a links page and the other site in return will place a link back to you.

Exchange is better known as Search Engine Optimization.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is major part of the
Internet Marketing. This way webmasters can market or advertise their
site through Link Exchange. Trading links with other
websites is a valuable method of promoting your website, and getting
more traffic. Many of the top search engines rank websites
according to how many links there are that point to that site. Therefore,
Link Exchange increases Link Popularity!

is Link Exchange important?
• It leads to more visitors on your site.
• It leads to higher Goggle PageRank for your site.
• Creates valuable partnerships with other website owners
PageRank measures the quality of a website on a scale of 0 to10. High quality sites receive a higher PageRank. The higher the PageRank the more visitors and traffic your site receives. PageRank is a “vote”, by all the other pages on the internet. A link to a page counts as a vote of support. If there isn’t any link there’s no support.
What
is Page Rank?
Here is where it gets tricky. The PageRank of each page depends on the
PageRank of the pages pointing to it. We don’t know which PageRank
those pages have until the pages pointing to them have their PageRank
calculated.
